The North Winds Gravel Classic is a timed-event set in the remote wilderness of the Tug Hill.  With distances to suit riders of all capabilities and interest, The Classic is a showcase of the fastest gravel in the Northeast.   The name derives from the consistent winds that travel across Lake Ontario and up over the Tug Hill, making this area perfect for sustainable energy generation through windmills and the most annual snowfall east of the Rocky Mountains.  

With pristine gravel roads that are built and maintained for year round recreation, The Classic is sure to be a staple on the gravel calendar for years to come.
