Ben Delaney
About Ben :
I've worked as a full-time cycling journalist since 2000, covering races and gear all over the world in stories, photos, podcasts and videos. I've been the global brand communications manager at Specialized and editor in chief at VeloNews and BikeRadar, and written for other titles like Cyclingnews, Outside, Cyclingtips, Peloton, Cycling Weekly, Stelvio and Cyclist. I've covered all the big races such as the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a España, the world championships, Tour of Flanders, etc. I've tested hundreds of bikes, and in recent years I've really been enjoying testing gravel bikes in events like Unbound Gravel, Belgian Waffle Ride, and SBT GRVL. I ride road or gravel just about every day from my home in Boulder, Colorado. Thanks for subscribing! |

The North Winds Gravel Classic is a timed-event set in the remote wilderness of the Tug Hill. With distances to suit riders of all capabilities and interest, The Classic is a showcase of the fastest gravel in the Northeast. The name derives from the consistent winds that travel across Lake Ontario and up over the Tug Hill, making this area perfect for sustainable energy generation through windmills and the most annual snowfall east of the Rocky Mountains.
With pristine gravel roads that are built and maintained for year round recreation, The Classic is sure to be a staple on the gravel calendar for years to come. |
